Placement in Junior Program
The staff will conduct free evaluations from August 13 - August 15. They will be held on the hour between 9:00 and 10:00 AM by appointment only!

USTA’s Quickstart Tennis program for 4-6 year olds is based on children using the right sized racket and reduced speed balls on the court suited to their size and age. The program will aim to retain players in the sport by ensuring that their first experience is both positive and enjoyable.

The Quickstart Tennis play format is designed to help children find success from the very first swing. Quickstart Tennis appropriately scales down all regulations of tennis including equipment, court dimensions and scoring. By enabling kids to start playing right away we allow them to learn as they play. For more information on Quickstart visit the USTA website for more details .

Intermediates: This player can place shots with moderate
success. Rarely double faults, but does not force errors on the serve. Consistent with volleys when they are within reach.

This player has dependable strokes and the ability to use a
variety of shots such as lobs, overheads, approach shots and
volleys. Good singles and doubles skills. They compete in North Shore League Junior Matches with some success.

This player has begun to master the use of power and spins.
Has solid footwork and can control depth of shots. Hits serve
with above average power and accuracy and can place the second serve. This player competes in USTA sanctioned events with some frequency.
